Heritage consumer work

Since 1960 our multidiscipline design team has helped consumer brands create the products people value everyday from the ubiquitous Yale night latch to the Stanley knife or BT Ambassdor phone.

David Carter Associates (DCA) was built on multi decade relationships with consumer client's such as BT(GPO), ICI and Stanley Tools.

These partnerships had a prolific output of award winning products that continously resonated with people's lives. DCA brought a unique mix of insight, creativity and technical strength to help deliver classic designs such as the first two-shot moulded 'Magnum' screwdriver for Stanley (now in its third decade of production) and the legendary high end 'Ira Gale' turntable.

Today this experience is leveraged in every consumer product we help create.
