User interface design forms an integral and increasingly important part of the product design process. Usability and ease of use can often dictate how commercially successful a product will be.

DCA have developed a number of techniques for the design and development of product user interfaces. We use interface logic flow charts and interactive computer based simulations to design, develop and test a proposed man machine interface (MMI).

DCA also have the benefit of an in-house electronics and software team who are able to advise on the limitations of technology, keep designers up to date with the introduction of new innovations in display, switch and other interface technologies, and assist in the design and mock up of proposed user interfaces.

DCA has wide ranging experience of MMI design, by virtue of working in a number of product sectors. This helps to stimulate the cross fertilisation of ideas and ultimately to encourage the development of innovative user interface solutions.
