The skills and experience that DCA have developed in the more mainstream medical product development areas, such as the drug delivery, surgical and diagnostic sectors, have been successfully applied to this area. Our research-led, evidence-based approach and risk management expertise, combined with a rigorous development process, strong technical skills and a cost-focused design and engineering culture, are particularly relevant.

As an example, the autoclave, shown in the accompanying images, was designed and developed in conjunction with a leading medical equipment manufacturer to meet the specialist needs of the dental surgeon.
