Detailed design and productionisation

Poor attention to detail can undermine even the most promising of concepts. That’s why at DCA it is our engineers and not contractors or draughtsmen who will complete the detailing of your product.

We will refine the detailed design of your product to match the specific production, assembly and testing requirements of the selected manufacturing facility and present the production documentation in your favoured format.

Our own bespoke tolerance analysis tools are used in conjunction with CETol software to apply σ principles to assemblies throughout the development process. In this way we aim to reduce tolerance chains and assign appropriate tolerance values.

We work closely with manufacturers to ensure tolerances are readily achievable by the specified production processes, and that suitable metrology methods are in place to enable consistent measurement and control of critical features.
