Orbit Castor - Joseph Gillott & Sons Wishing to diversify from their diminishing pen nib production, DCA proposed to the client a wide range of products from pencil sharpeners to castors. The orbit castors, in a range of sizes and styles, were ideal for use on fitted carpets and sold up to 8M sets per annum in the UK alone. The Design Council gave them a Design Award for outstanding design in 1961.
