Recent work

Our most recent transportation projects embrace our full range of disciplines, including our flourishing user research and sustainability offers. There is also an increasing technical content to our work.

We continue to carry out major rail projects like the District Line seating development and the design of the detrainment device for the London Underground S Stock, and other strategically important work for the likes of CAF and Northern Ireland Railways.

Recent DCA projects include the design of automatic vehicle drivers for use on rolling roads, development work on a ship-borne navigation system and the design of under-bonnet electronic equipment. We have designed bespoke vehicles for a Barbadian tourist attraction and we are completing our second emergency detrainment device. Our team has generated a new luxury coach interior and completed in depth research into public perceptions of buses, leading to a new double-decker concept. And we are now developing a range of mechanical, electronic and software solutions for a major manufacturer of material handling vehicles.
