DCA and Golden Dragon win European Product Design Award

After winning a Good Design Award earlier this year the Xiamen Golden Dragon Navigator luxury coach designed by DCA has won another design award, this time a bronze European Product Award.
Xiamen Golden Dragon is one of China’s leading bus and coach manufacturers and the Navigator is its flagship model. The interior was designed from the ground up with a collaborative approach, seeking input throughout the development process from different Xiamen Golden Dragon departments, key suppliers and end-users. DCA’s experts developed an interior that centres on the needs of passengers and drivers, feels like a premium, high-end environment but aligns with challenging manufacturing cost targets and can still be produced using Xiamen Golden Dragon’s existing production and assembly methods.
This Navigator coach has been proven to be very successful, outperforming sales forecasts, and it has greatly enhanced Xiamen Golden Dragon’s brand perception, opening new overseas markets and redefine what “Made in China” means.
