DCA to present at the Human Factors in Rail Conference

Published on: 22nd June 2021

The Seventh International Rail Human Factors conference will be held as a virtual conference, online on the 23rd to the 25th of June 2021.
DCA’s Dan Jenkins and Paul Rutter will be delivering a presentation discussing DCA’s ongoing internal research addressing seat comfort across a range of transport solutions.

About the talk:

Getting seat design right within the myriad of complex constraints is not easy. Considered trade-offs need to be made. Fortunately, there are a number of people within the rail industry who are seeking to understand these constraints and provide guidance on both the design and procurement of better seating solutions. This talk provides some insights from the perspective of those seeking to specify, evaluate and optimise seating solutions in the early stages of the design process.
