Warwick scores strongly in Vibrant Economy Index

Grant Thornton has released its Vibrant Economy Index, which rates 324 English local authority areas across six diverse socio-economic indicators: prosperity; dynamism and opportunity; inclusion and equality; health, wellbeing and happiness; resilience and sustainability; community, trust and belonging. The index thereby aims to provide an indication of the vibrancy of an area.

Warwick is rated as very high in the index, scoring in the top 10%. It is also singled out as the stand out area in the Midlands. The accompanying report also highlights that Warwick scores consistently well across all six indicators, stating that, though the region is not ranked in the top ten local authority areas, "it may be that a lower, but more balanced average - such as Warwick- is more appropriate."
