High Speed Train named after Sir Kenneth Grange
It is 40 years since Sir Kenneth Grange’s iconic High Speed Train (HST) design first appeared on the UK’s rails. To mark this anniversary, a power car in the original Intercity 125 livery has been named after him at a ceremony hosted by GWR.
Now after four decades, Hitachi’s Class 800 and 801 trains are set to replace the Intercity 125. These new trains feature Interiors by DCA, including those proposed for the Virgin Azuma trains unveiled in March this year.
