DCA has received The Queen's Award for Enterprise for its achievements in international trade from the Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Mr. Martin Dunne.

The presentation took place in DCA’s studios in the heart of Warwick, and was preceded by a tour of the firm’s facilities. Presenting the award, Mr Dunne, who is the Queen's official representative in Warwickshire, said: "Her Majesty has asked me to present this award to DCA for the longstanding contribution they have made to this country's export trade and to the international clientele they have built up over the years. I hope that their outstanding achievement may be an inspiration for other smaller companies to enjoy a similar success."

DCA's managing director Robert Woolston was accompanied by his fellow directors, Rob Bassil and Nick Mival, as he escorted the presentation party around the company’s campus of facilities in Warwick.

“Since the early sixties DCA has helped clients to design and develop market-leading products,” said Mr. Woolston. “The scope and impact of our work continues to grow, now across an international stage. Two mainstays of our success are the long-standing relationships that we have developed with many leading companies and the strength of the skill base within the fantastic team we have built over time.”

Over the last decade DCA has deliberately become more international in outlook. Much of the company’s growth over this period has come from exporting expertise in product innovation to multinational corporations, leading to the creation of a diverse range of market-leading products. The success of DCA's approach has been recognised in the granting of the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

“We are deeply honoured to be recognised in this manner,” said Mr Woolston, "and would like to thank all of our staff and clients for making our success in international trade and this award possible."
