DCA wins iF Design Award 2018 for Malvern Panalytical’s newly launched next generation Morphologi

Published on: 14th February 2018

Coinciding with Malvern Panalytical launching Morphologi® 4 and Morphologi® 4-ID; we are pleased to announce that DCA has won an iF Design award 2018 for this next-generation instrument.

For 65 years, the IF international forum has been recognised as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design and is renowned worldwide for celebrating outstanding design. The IF Design Award is one of the most important design prizes in the world.

The Morphologi® 4 instruments offers significantly enhanced definition, speed and control for scientists characterising individual microscopic particles.  With Morphologi® 4-ID the instrument uniquely combines automated, static imaging with Raman spectroscopy in a single, integrated platform.

Working closely with Malvern’s development team, DCA was responsible for the new product format, visual design (including colours, materials and finishes) and the main user interaction points.

“We are very proud to have helped Malvern Panalytical achieve this significant next-generation instrument, which launched on 14th February, and are delighted that our design has won an iF Design Award 2018.”
