DCA has helped Kickstarter entrepreneurs Nifty realise their breakthrough product The Nifty MiniDrive. This unique product provides a seamless extension to the Macbook’s Solid State Drive, sitting flush in the SD card slot.
DCA undertook a complete design overhaul of the MiniDrive providing a more robust and cost effective design suitable for volume manufacture. From mid-February this year, the revised and updated Nifty MiniDrive is now widely available in Apple online stores across Europe and the UAE.
James May, Sector Manager at DCA commented ‘We are delighted for the Nifty team. DCA’s engineering expertise has helped deliver a commercially effective, robust design supporting new forward thinking consumer electronics’.
The entrepreneurial efforts of Piers Ridyard and the Nifty team have also been more widely recognised. The team are now scheduled to attend the final of the forthcoming Pitch @ Palace event, focussed on seeking out Britain’s best start-up talent.
