JLG’s new electric boom lift launched at Bauma 2025

DCA is proud to have collaborated closely with JLG on the transition of their boom lift platform to a fully electric architecture. Unveiled at Bauma, the world’s largest trade fair for construction machinery, the all-electric EC450AJ Compact articulated boom lift sets a new standard in electric access equipment.

Measuring just 2 metres wide and featuring true zero tail swing, 4-wheel drive, and an oscillating axle, the EC450AJ Compact delivers exceptional agility and stability, making it ideal for confined spaces and demanding terrain. Its fully electric powertrain provides zero emissions, reduced noise, and fast onboard charging, supporting environmentally focused operations without compromising performance.

Update: The EC450AJ Compact’s outstanding design was recognised at the CMME Awards in June, where it won Access Machinery of the Year (June 2025).
