LiftPod takes its place in Red Dot Award exhibition
On 7 July 2026, the winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026 gathered in Essen for an evening celebrating outstanding design achievements at the Red Dot Design Museum, located on the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein.
Representatives from the DCA and JLG LiftPod project teams attended the Designers’ Night to see JLG’s LiftPod take its place alongside other winners in the Red Dot Design Museum’s new exhibition, showcasing current developments in international product design.
LiftPod is a compact, foldable lifting platform for working at low heights of up to 3.5 metres. It is ideally suited to modern commercial environments and public buildings. LiftPod has been purpose-engineered as a stable, securely enclosed platform, enabling completely hands-free operation at height. The cage can be unfolded and set up quickly and easily, while the integrated belt drive system allows it to be raised to working height with minimal effort.
DCA is very proud to see LiftPod take its place in the exhibition, highlighting both its success and the strong partnership between DCA and JLG.
With its foldable, compact and thoroughly user-friendly construction, LiftPod provides a safe, practical and comfortable alternative to conventional ladders or work platforms.
