JLG and DCA win 2026 IAPA Innovative Technology Award

We are delighted to announce that the JLG LiftPod has been awarded the Innovative Technology Award at the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA) 2026. This is in addition to the Red Dot Award, iF Design Award, GOOD DESIGN Award and Edison Award that LiftPod has already received.  

The judges selected the LiftPod for its combination of a patented self-powered lifting mechanism and innovative foldable structure, enabling fast deployment, compact storage and easy manoeuvrability.  

Designed for commercial job sites operating a ‘ladders last’ policy, the LiftPod offers a portable, non-motorised alternative to traditional step ladders. It enables a single operator to work confidently at heights of up to 3.5 metres, while keeping both hands free to focus on the task at hand.

The IAPAs are an annual showcase of excellence across the powered access sector, celebrating the companies, products and individuals helping to drive standards, innovation and safety across the global powered access industry.
