Catering facilities

The quality and efficiency of on-board catering facilities are critical to the satisfaction of passengers and the morale
of operating and maintenance staff.

The design of the catering facilities can vary dramatically depending upon the type of service that an operator wants to offer. For aircraft, and increasingly on rail services, the provision of efficient, high quality at seat catering is critical. Once we thoroughly understand the catering need, we work with suppliers to develop a detailed listing of the equipment that will be required, including support for tractionisation and flight certification where this is not already in place. We then integrate the selected equipment efficiently and document the necessary electrical and water services.

Ergonomic and fully representative mock-ups allow us to confirm that we have satisfied the operational and safety requirements, as well as passenger service desires, prior to releasing design data for manufacture.
